Hi Team,

User's guide page 19 shows the procedure to Import Settings from Device.
https://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/ug/slvub60c/slvub60c.pdf

I know version 6.1.1 doesn't support the feature.
Does the current version 6.1.3 support?
https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/978953/tps6598x-config-import-settings-from-device?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=TPS65987EVM%25252520import#

The background of the question is my customer couldn't verified the feature with 6.1.3 version GUI.

Best Regards,
Yaita

  • Hi Yaita,

The "Import Settings from Device" feature should be supported on the current version 6.1.3. When the setting window opens (as shown below), the user should import settings to "Shared Device Settings". The port settings should be updated afterwards (if the user is on a configuration tab i.e. Transmit Source Capabilities when the settings are imported, they won't see the change unless they click out of that tab and return back into it).

Make sure the I2C address is based on the customer's address, not the one shown in the picture above. Any changes made to the general or port settings would need to be save if the customer wants to keep it.

    Regards
