UCC21732QDWEVM-025: Difference between spec. value of UCC21732 and UCC21732QDWEVM-025

Part Number: UCC21732QDWEVM-025
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC21732

Hi,

I found that there is a drfferenct specification value between UCC21732 and UCC21732QDWEVM-025 (ex. IN+, IN-, RST/EN rising threshold for UCC21732: 1.85V (typ) and UCC21732QDWEVM-025: 0.7 x VCC )

If I am testing with UCC21732QDWEVM-025, shouldn't I refer to the datasheet values of UCC21732 gate driver ic?

The difference make me confused.

  • Hi YoonJin,

The 1.85V mentioned in the datasheet is based on the test condition of VCC = 3.3V. If you look at section 6.3 of the UCC21732 datasheet, you can also see the recommended high level input of above 0.7xVCC and the recommended low level input of 0.3xVCC.

    Hope this answers your question!

    Thanks,

    Vivian
