Hi Team,

We are using TPS563249DDC buck converter in one of our production projects. After installation our product in the field, we are getting the filed failures which is board not getting power ON, after analysis we have found that buck converter got damaged which is Vin with SW (Vout) pin short and Vin, SW short with GND.

We have tried to reproduce the same failure in our LAB but we are not able make it fail. Please find the below schematics snap for your reference and help us to reproduce the same.

Hi Samraj,

The schematic looks well. please double check your failure board that why there is damaged components and what the board is done. Please try to repeat this.

Hi Edwin,

We are not observing any other component damage other than TPS563249DDC. After changing the Switcher IC board starts working.

After 2months of working in the field we are observing this issue.
