Hi,

Can device be used as Sink for Alt mode DP for a LCD?

Just want to confirm.

We want to use this device for Alt mode DP Type C port at source side and as well as on Sink side.

In sink, I just need single port, but to maintain the BOM simple, trying to use this device and use just one port.

If this device is not right then which is right device? We need -30+85 temperature support.

Let me know.

Hi Navin,

I think you might need a different device for a 1 port DP sink, and for the -30 temperature. Maybe the TPS65983B.

Hi Navin,

The best product for your needs is the TPS65987D. Unfortunately we can only support -10C for this device as well. The TPS65994AD is intended for TBT4 applications following Intel/AMD's reference designs.
