LM5035: Reference Design

Hello E2E Experts,

Good day.

I want to use the LM5035 controller for input voltage range 150Vdc to 350Vdc and output 24V/20A.

Design ref. given in the data-sheet is up to 75Vdc max.

Please let me know, Can I go for the design half-bridge converter with LM5035 for 150Vdc to 350Vdc input voltage range?

    Hello,

    Yes, you can use it for high voltage. But you need make some changes from reference design. Input voltage can't be directly connected VIN of LM5035. A regulator is required to regulate the input to right range for VIN; then you need add an external driver (high voltage LS/HS driver) to drive MOSFETs.  Other parts are the same.
