When ILIM(Discharge current limit) setting by REG 0x39H is lower than PROCHOT of battery discharge REG0x3Dh [15:10] ,

What is occur?

 

When ILIM(Discharge current limit) setting by hardware(VILIM/(5×RSR)) is lower than PROCHOT of battery discharge REG0x3Dh [15:10] ,

    REG 0x39 regulates the discharge current for Battery Only Boost Mode and Hybrid Boost mode. REG0x3Dh [15:10] pulls the PROCHOT pin low when the current goes beyond the limit set.

    The same thing happens. ILIM will regulate the discharge current limit during Battery Only Boost Mode and Hybrid Boost Mode and PROCHOT will pull the PROCHOT pin low for when the current goes beyond the limit set.

    You can change whether to regulate discharge current on REG 0x39 or the ILIM pin by setting REG 0x38 [7].
