Hello ,

I have the problem that on our own board the PD controller is only active as a legacy source. Unfortunately I don't see the problem. Firmware or Hardware ?

I have attached a snapshot from the debug mode. may be that can help.

The TotalPhase analyser only gives a 3 times HardReset . no PD communication.

Help.

Hi Maik,

For your device, do you only want the PD controller to be a source?

Also I noticed in the Port Configuration (0x28), you have VConn Supported [11:12] for both DFP/UFP but in Port Control (0x29), Process VCONN Swap [10] is not enabled. In order for the PD controller to accept requests for VCONN, VCONN Swap needs to be enabled.

Updated [7/21]:

Customer Solution: VBUS1 pin MUST connect together with VBUS2 pin. in my design I am using only one power path PP2 for source. VBUS1 pin was not used and shorted to GND
