How to get Thunderbolt Application Customization 6.x for TPS65983B? We can not find it in the product folder of TPS65983B.

Hi William,

The TPS65983B is an NRND (Not Recommended for New Design) device and any designs will need to follow the Intel reference design document number 569174 (stated on first page of the datasheet). I would recommend using the TPS65988DDK instead (supports TBT2/3/4 and USB4) as it's more up to date and we can provide more support for it. You can also refer to this comparison pdf for more reference into which PD controls might suit your customer better (any PD controllers with 1 next to active is an NRND device).

Hi Raymond,

Actually customer do use the new gen device TPS65988DDK in their new project. This case is for their last gen product, so they need Thunderbolt Application Customization 6.x for TPS65983B to achieve the product certification. Thanks.
