Hi, We have a plan to use TPS4811 as High side driver for our Lithium Battery. Now Can we Shift the Shunt to Low side instead of High side as recommended by Texas Instruments ?.
So our plan is to detect Bi-Directional Over current detection. So we are thinking if we can shift the Sense pins to sense Low side Shunt for Negative short circuit detection. while we can design one more differential Op-amp with comparator for positive over current detection, and feed the output to INP pin of TPS4811. Is it possible ???
