    Hi Koji,

    LM74502 can be used in the configuration you mentioned. But in the absence of the second FET, the load will always be connected to the input through the body diode of the FET. So load disconnect during events such as overvoltage will need a second FET. But if such protection is not required, this configuration can be used to protect against reverse polarity.
