Hi,
As BQ24401 is selected to use, may I have a suggestion about the NTC thermistor for TS described in datasheet?

The usual thermistor is a 10k NTC. Then, you set the LTF and HTF thresholds with a voltage divider. These 2 resistor and the thermistor can be any value desired but 10k is typically used.
The bq24401 is very similar to the bq2000T. In the bq2000T's user guide (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sluu006a/sluu006a.pdf), it recommends this thermistor (which is included with the EVM):
(part number 2322-640-63103, manufacturer Philips)
