Hello Team,

I am having my old batteries with BQ2060A , Queries is:

1. Can i use EV2400 to read/write BQ2060A parameter and to access its EEPROM Values ?

2. Old GUI software is ev60301i.exe , can i use that with EV2400 ? If NO, kindly suggest the Software to use.

Third party hardware MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 does not support BQ2060A.

Hi,

I would recommend the EV2300 for this gauge. Many of the older gauges in our portfolio were designed before the EV2400 and have compatibility issues.

Ya, but EV2300 does not support BQ2060A as per TI online information.

TI Mentions to use EV2200 which is obsoleted now.

Then ?

The EV2300 should still be able to support the BQ2060A but I am going to test this thoroughly in the lab to ensure that this is the case. I will let you know my findings on Monday.

Hi Bhupendra,

I would try using the EV software with an EV2300. The BQ2060A is a very old part in our portfolio so I do not have one on hand to test. I will have to reach out to my team to confirm that the EV2300 will work.

Hi Bhupendra,

The BQ2060A will work with both the EV2200 and EV2300 but will require an OS of Windows XP or older.

Anyway Let me know in case any workaround for EV2400 exist...
