Hi Team,

1. May I know if the Auto Calibation includes "Board offest"? (Note: form this E2E thread, it seems do the CC offset only)

2. As far as I know, Bqstudio doesn't have "Board offset" section in Advanced Calibration section(see the below). Could I know what is the reason to cancel "Board offset" in bqstudio?

Hello Cheer,

The board offset can be used before using the calibration tab if there is a known offset due to trace length differences or other board/system level offsets. It's not required to be used.

a). So, Auto Calibration is not including Board Offset, right?

b). May I know what is "the calibration tab"? Can "the calibration tab" be used/executed by bqstudio or by slua734a?

c). As I know, board offset only considers the board/PCB of the battery. Why should it consider the system-side?

Hello Cheer,

Auto Calibration will not be the board offset, the gauge cannot calculate the board offset.

The calibration tab is in bqstudio to help with the calibration process. It's in the top header of the GUI.

It should consider anything in related to the pathway for the SRN and SRP traces.

Got it. One more thing, just double confirm with you, the calibration tab is in bqstudio which can't support to calibrate Board Offset, am I right?

That's correct, the board offset has to be manually input.
