I checked document "SLVA709A" but the desired parts was not on it.

Starting with the newer generation HB devices, we started the include this information in the device datasheet. For the TPS1HB08-Q1, for example, this is on page 35 of the datasheet:

The DRV devices are motor driver parts. Could you kindly ask this question in the motor driver forum for the DRV devices?

I want to get AEC-Q100-012 Short-Circuit Reliability Test Results of devise version F TPS1HB16.

I checked the device datasheet of TPS1HB16 but only devise version B was on it.

I think the higher the current limit, the more severe the conditions.

Hello!

How do I understand test is "Cold" repetitive on the other hand test condition is Ta = 85℃?

Initial temperature of cold repetitive is -40℃?

What temperature is Ta = 85℃?

Hojo-san,

Please refer to the AECQ100-12 specification for full details about the test.

The "cold" test refers to the condition that the device cools completely to the test temperature (here 85C) in the time between the long pulses.

This is in contrast to the "hot" test which refers to the condition where the device is operated on close to the shutdown temperature of the device. The junction in this case is hot and almost at the shutdown temperature.

I still think that 85°C is a mistake of -40°C.

I checked AEC Q100-012 specification and SLVA709A.

Hojo-san,

This device also has a relative thermal shutdown. This shutdown occurs when the powerFET temperature exceeds the controller temperature quickly.

While we have tested the device under -40C, the 85C condition is the worst case condition for us as this allows the junction temperature to hit absolute thermal shutdown. As such, we report this value in the datasheet.

I understood that 85℃ was a more severe condition than -40℃.

Also, I understood that the test result of F version TPS1HB16 is the same as the result of B version TPS1HB16 from your email.
