BQ40Z50: Manufacturing Access issue: LED press command

Good day,

We are using AlternateManufacturerAccess() 0x002C LED Display Press command to trigger all LED turn on during production process.

But , we encounter , some of the battery pack turn on for less than a second and turn off. some turn on for 5 seconds and turn off.

how do we control the duration of the Press display command?

or any other factor can disturb the LED turn on?

Hello Ted,

To control the duration of the Press Display command, I would configure the LED support parameters (LED Config to be more specific). This is located at section 13.7 in TRM.

Depending on what you are trying to display, you can play with the configuration of LED Flash Period, LED Blink Period, or LED Hold Time. These look like the affecting factors of your LED Display issue.

Hi Jose,

We are using the latest FW , 40z50-R4, i notice the TPM for R4 does not include section 13.7. is the command value for 40z50-r4?
