LM5175: LM5175

Part Number: LM5175
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5122, LM5170

Hi I am searching for application for paralleling LM5175 two buck/boost converters but I cant find the document on TI site.

www.ti.com/.../snva792 this is mentioned but nowhere to be found.

Thank you

  • Hello Viktor,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The LM5175 has not been designed to work in a multiphase configuration. The datasheet does also not mention anything about it.
Previous e2e threads were all just theoretical discussions.
I would believe that putting two BuckBoost converters in parallel did not work properly and therefore that document snva792 has also been deleted.

We offer the LM5122 as a Boost device that has been designed for multiphase operation a few Buck controllers which are suitable for multiphase
and the LM5170 Multiphase Bidirectional Current Controller.

    Best regards,
    Harry
