TPS22810: Driving Brushless Motor

Part Number: TPS22810

This is linked to a related question as it is similar to this one.

I understand this part is not meant to drive an inductive load due to negative transients potentially damaging the body diode of the pass fet. But based on the related question, it seems it may be possible with a flyback diode and a protection diode across Vout and Vin of this load switch?

We need to minimize the number of new parts added to our design so it would be very beneficial in our case to be able to use this part to drive a brushed motor.

The motor would only need to be driven in one direction at one speed, and only driven once for probably a few seconds. Our system is locked in place and we are using a brushed motor to unlock it and then the brushed motor will never be used again. So long term repeatability isnt a factor but it still would be ideal to not damage any circuitry.

It seems like we just need to make sure that vout vin voltage doesnt drop below -0.3V?

Thanks
