Hi
I am helping my customer find a 6KW solution, AC in, 120V/50A out. Full bridge should be UCC28951. How about PFC solution? Which PFC device should be suitable here? If prefer smaller BOM size, is our interleaved UCC28070 can be used here? Or any other solution?

    Hi Rocky, 

    Thanks for your interest, and sharing your requirements. How many AC phases is the input stage? (1, 2, or 3)

    The UCC28070 is a continuous conduction mode, with interleaved operation for 2 phase PFC input applications, it's best suited for this multi-kW power level.

    It's possible to use different options, but they likely won't be as efficient or power dense.
