Hi TI expert,
I am looking for Active clamp flyback using in CCM, any recommended IC?
Could you please also provide the SIMPLIS simulation file let me try, thanks/

Hello Jack,
The UCC2897A Active Clamp controller works in the forward mode with the output inductor current operating in CCM.
Data sheet link: https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/ucc2897a
Section 12.1.1 of the UCC2897A data sheet (page 36) contains several other links to earlier forward-mode ACF controllers.
The Design tools and Simulation section of the UCC2897A product page ( UCC2897A data sheet, product information and support | TI.com ) has links to PSpice and TINA-TI models, but unfortunately, we do not have a Simplis model available for this device.

Ulrich
Hello Jack,
The UCC2897A data sheet indicates that this part can be used in flyback mode, but it is not clear if it can operate in CCM-flyback.
I will refer your question to someone more familiar with this device than I am.
Please allow a day or two for a response.
Regards,
Ulrich
Hi,
Yes, this device can work for flyback both CCM and DCM depending your inductance design..
