Hi Sir,

Does the auto pin of TPS23882B only support af,at? If two pairs of functions, is bt type 3 class 6 supported?

 Is there a test report for sifos or EA's bt type 3?

    Hi Tommy,

    The auto pin of TPS23882B is for autonomous mode selection. Any device that supports autonomous mode selection is designated as .bt Type 3. even though power is only provided over 2 pairs. Autonomous mode only has 2 selectable power levels (15W and 30W) therefore any device requesting higher power will be demoted to selected power level. 

    We have sifos test report for TPS23882, however we do not currently have one for TPS23882B, we can run sifos test on TPS23882B1EVM if needed.
