LM136A-2.5QML-SP: Clarification on Part Number Suffix

Part Number: LM136A-2.5QML-SP

Hi Team,

What is the difference between LM136AH-2.5RLQV and LM136AH-2.5RQV? I've checked the DLA SMD (5962R0050102VXA and 5962R0050101VXA) but haven't found any explicit description on the 5962R0050102VXA and 5962R0050101VXA ('02' and '01') suffix within the part numbers.

Page 2 of our nomenclature guide unfortunately does not show the meaning of '01' and '02' suffix after the drawing number. Can you help us how to interpret this suffix for our customer?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hi Jejomar,

The difference between the 01 and 02 devices is explained fully in the SMD available on the LM136A-2.5QML-SP product page.

Depending on the part, the "Device number" in a part number can indicate many different things (electrical characteristics, testing, package, etc). For this part, the difference is in radiation classification (see section 1.5 of the SMD and footnote 3 on that page). Device 01 is rated for 100 krad of TID at High Dose Rate, while device 02 is rated for 100 krad of TID at Low Dose Rate.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
