TPS4H000-Q1: accuracy of current limiting

Hi team,

my customer use TPS4H000-Q1, and they Rcl=7.5KΩ, so the Ilimt should be 32mA. while testing the I_short2GND, the currents are: 20mA, 30mA,32mA,29mA. my questions are as below:

  • May I know if there is a way to fine-tune the limits of the 4 output currents separately ?
  • What is the error range for this current limit?

    Hi Hazel,

    The current limit accuracy is only defined for current limit setting >50mA, and the accuracy number is listed below. If you are using a current limit setting below 50mA, then the accuracy is not defined, and it's not a recommended setting. I would have the current limit set to at least 50mA to get a accuracy of within 25%.
