Dear Sir,

We are using LM3478 IC for Flyback converter and facing below issues.

we could not generate the Gate pulse from LM3478, even though

 1. All pins of LM3478 IC are normal.

 2. MOSFET is not damged.

 3.  FA/SD (7th pin) is pulled down properly.

Please do give your valuable suggestions to rectify it.

    Hello Matta,

    Thanks for reaching out to us via e2e.

    There can be many reasons and I do not have enough information about your design.

    Please verify that your lab supply does not limit the current to a level where the converter cannot work.

    Did you follow this document to calculate the external components?

    If this document does not help you any further, can you please share a schematic, so that I can have a look at it?
    Also, please tell me the Min / Max input voltage, Output voltage, Min / Max output current.
    Which static voltage do you measure on the Gate drive pin?
