Do you have a battery attached? What does the PPHV voltage read?

No battery. PPHV showing zero

What are your jumper settings? Have you tried reflashing the device?

I have since ordered a second EVM board. This one works, same jumper settings. I don't have the means to reflash the device.

Can you please try using an Aardvark to reflash the device and/or try attaching an appropriate voltage battery? Can you probe the I2C lines to see what information is being sent on both boards?

I am unable to reflash the device as i do not have aardvark.

I have an eeprom programmer and have tried to use the Applications Customisation Tool to generate full flash binary. It doesn't seem to make any difference after I have programmed.

I have also tried to erase the eeprom. Is this the default configuration this EVM is shipped with? If not, please provide bin from for me to try to recover to original.

I have found 3.3V and 1.5V are available but no PPHV.

With the Eeprom erased would you expect the STAT LED to illuminate?

I have tried generating and loading lowregion and fullflash binary to the eeprom however STAT LED is not illuminating.

I have retried this morning with fullflash and it seems that when the battery is not fitted, PPHV is measuring 5V (usually 20V from my wall adapter).
However, when i fit the battery PPHV drops to approx 0V.

This has no effect. Still the same 5V on PPHV and no stat led.

Using usb pd analyser I can see repeated source capability messages in a burst of 10 or 20. No request from UFP sink.

Just to confirm, the cable and far-end device you're using for the set-up is the same for the other board you used that works?

Can you try and see if the board continues to not work with a different cable?

Yes exactly the same setup.

Continues to not work with a different cable.

When I plug in a battery, PPHV no longer goes to 5V.
