BQ25895: BQ25895 battery charger charging time calculation

We are using a BQ25895 battery charger IC for PoC testing. We are looking for a charging time calculation as per the charging profile.

Could you please provide the charging time calculation formula or charging profile time data?

Could you please share the average current during constant voltage(CV) and time ?

We are using default charging profile, Here I posted images of default setting and charging profile.

Ravi,

The chargers are essentially power supplies with complex state machines and analog feedback loops while the gauges are micro-controllers using ADCs and digital logic. The charger is unable to provide charging time calculation.

What is Vsys voltage at default stage? Can we set Vsys voltage by hardware setting ?

What is Vsys voltage range?

Ravi,

1. It depends. Please refer to 8.2.6.1 Narrow VDC Architecture on the d/s. SYS_MIN is only adjustable via I2C.

2. Please refer to 7.5 POWER-PATH MANAGEMENT spec section on page 7.
