Hi Teritama,
Thanks for your patience! The TPS65219 non-automotive PMIC will have two package options, 5x5 (RHB) and 4x4 (RSM) but they will not be released at the same time and enough demand will be required to have both packages released to the market for a specific OPN. Which orderable part number (or NVM) were you interested in? I can check with our marketing team on the expected release schedule for the OPN that you will be using in your application.
Thanks,
Brenda
Hi Brenda,
Thank you for reply.
In product page in TI web, there is RHB package only. Does this mean RHB package will be release around March-2023 and RSM package will be released other time?
Our customer want to use same product(RHB package) with sample in product page. If you could know about RSM too, please let me know.
Best regards,
teritama
Hi Teritama,
TPS6521901RHBR and TPS6521903RHBR will be the first two part numbers (with 5x5x RHB package) that will be released in March-2023. Please let me know if you were planning to use a different part number and I can check with our marketing team about the expected release schedule.
I'm also adding the link to the Apps note that shows TPS65219 powering the AM62 processor. Powering the AM62x with the TPS65219 PMIC (Rev. A)
Thanks,
Brenda
Hi Brenda,
I understood RSM package is released at later than RHB one.
If the characteristic of RSM is same with RHB, the customer may want to consider because of that the device size is smaller than RHB.
So, could you check the release schedule of RSM?
Best regards,
teritama
Hi Teritama,
Absolutely! I can check with out marketing team on the release schedule for the RSM but will need information on the specific NVM that you are interested in. We identify the NVM configuration based on the 9th and 10th digits of the part number (i.e TPS65219xx).
If you provide us with information on the processor that will be powered with our PMIC, along with the memory (DDR4 or LPDDR4) and input supply (3.3V or 5V), I should be able to help you identify the NVM for that specific use case.
Thanks,
Brenda
Hi Teritama,
We are expecting to release the TPS6521901 in RSM package (4x4) by end of 2Q2023.
Thanks,
Brenda
