TPS7H4010-SEP: SEL LETth additional data

Part Number: TPS7H4010-SEP

The TPS7H4010-SEP device has TI SEL radiation test data to 43 MeV-cm2/mg (sbok044.pdf). My colleagues were wondering if the device fails SEL at the next available test LET or does SEL radiation test data simply not exist with test LETs greater than 43 MeV-cm2/mg (esp to 75 MeV-cm2/mg)?
If the latter, would that information be useful to TI/the community?

To me, the report reads like it was only tested with a single test ion/LET(for cost/time savings) and may pass a SEL test LET of > 75 MeV-cm2/mg as well.

  • Hi Andrew,

SEP, or space enhanced plastic, devices were never intended to meet  full QMLV requirements.  As such, SEE radiation testing targeted a lower LETeff and no data is available beyond the levels published in the reports.

    Thanks
