Is there a ZVS or QR Flyback suitable for low voltage applications?

Did not find anything for the input range 8 to 18V. Most ICs have UVLO threshold of around 10V.

Thank you for the query. You might want to check UCC28780/81/82 series for ZVS flyback and UCC28600 for QR flyback controller.

Hey Harish! The minimum voltage on these are 12V or so. My input might go as low as 8V. Is there a solution for this?

Hi Rohan,

Please check LM5180 family devices. It will be in the voltage range you are looking for.

Harish, this family does not support ZVS or quasi resonant switching. Is there a family that meets these requirements?

Hi Rohan,

The ZVS/QR flybacks avaiable are not suitable for your input voltage level /UVLO conditions. I am not sure of devices which will suffice both your needs.
