I need some help with the TPS546B24ARVFR 20A regulator I added to a recent design. I am using a USB2ANY USB-I2C dongle for trying to read out status registers from this digital power regulator. I am able to plug in the dongle, and see it is recognized by the USB2ANY explorer software. I updated the firmware to the dongle successfully, to v2.8.2.
Unfortunately, I don’t really see any meaningful data from this GUI. I recall using the Fusion Power GUI and other TI tools in the past, and they had a better interface for seeing output voltages, die temperatures, currents, and reading/writing registers. Is there another GUI tool I need to download for this TPS546B24ARVFR part? I tried using the Fusion Power Designer 7.7.1, but it doesn’t recognize this USB2ANY dongle.
Is the only supported telemetry tool to use this tab (snipped below) and do individual I2c reads/writes, or should I be using a different toolset and/or different dongle?
