Looking for best storage and/or bake requirements. What is the best tools to remove and replace this part?
Hi David,
The baking procedure varies and is dependent on thickness and moisture levels. For more details on the process, please refer to our app note: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa550h/snoa550h.pdf. We also have a Moisture sensitivity tool that can be found here: Moisture Sensitivity Level Search Tool.
For reference, TPS54620 has a thickness of 1mm so according to table 5 in the App note, it's doesn't require baking if Floor Life exposure is limited to < 30C and < 60%RH for thin (< 1.4 mm) MSL2 devices. This is due to the moisture diffusion behavior of the thin devices, which were fully saturated after the absorption at MSL 2 (168 hours @85C/60%RH).
Regards,
Eileen
