BQEVSW: Batteries didn't show up when selecting battery chemistry

Hi Experts,

Seeking your assistance please with bqevsw for Bq20z655-R1:

Trying to figure out what battery chemistry I should be selecting with the bqevsw. We have Samsung INR18650-25R batteries but they dont show up in the list when selecting battery chemistry, so trying to figure out what I should be selecting.

Hello Archie,

Please use the GPCCHEM tool to find the best matching chem ID for your battery. Make sure the chemistry database you are using is also the most up to date before starting this process, the chem ID for that battery may have been added after the installer was made for the bqEASY software used.

The vendor for the battery pack mentioned above is telling them to set a battery chemistry of 2044. They couldn’t find it in the list, does this battery chemistry exist?

I checked the archive, chem ID 2044 does exist, they just need to make sure to use the most updated chemistry database.

Hi Wyatt,

Thanks but customer has still issues:

I tried to update the chemistry database for the bqevsw 0.9.80 and I am getting an error saying that the bqevsw is an illegal/unathorized copy". Advised to try uninstalling and installing again but still got the same error.

Any further assistance? Thank you.
