Hi,

we need a constant current drive for our LCD project. The backlight spec is IF=200mA, VF=9V--10.2V. LM3405A datasheet says: Drives up to 5 High-Brightness LEDs in Series at 1A. because VF=9V-10.2V, I guess serial LED is 3-4, but IF=200mA, there must be several LED string shunt together. Can LM3405A diver this backlight?

We have DC power supply 5V.  We also have an AVDD 9.8V. Can one of this supplies as Vin?. Is this chip a boost topology?

If you have a schematic with components' values, that will be very helpful, in case my calculation wrong.
