USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01: What's the purpose of J3 connector on the board?

Hi,

On the board, beside J5, there is also a J3 connector. IMHO, with only J5 we can flash the EEPROM and kick the board running, right? Then what's the purpose of J3?

Hello,

J3 was intended to use the USB2ANY with the pass through mode. Unfortunately we are not currently supporting this option. It is required to use an Aardvark on J5 to flash the device.
