Hi,

What's the best fit device for 12VIN 5.5VOUT 5A; among TPS548A28 and TPS548A29? Their operations are same but they have different internal VCC LDO; 3V vs. 4.5V. Is there any operational difference that comes from internal LDO level difference? Maybe VIN range or efficiency?

    The TPS548A28 has a 3V LDO and the TPS548A29 has a 4.5V LDO.      The LDO voltage  increase gives an efficiency improvement.   At 15A output current the improvement is a slight difference, see efficiency curve on front page of datasheets for the 5V output voltage.  The TPS548A29 efficiency is slightly above 95 and TPS548A28 slightly below 95.

    I would use the TPS548A28, it matches the LDO voltage of the MPQ8633
