I am programming the TPS65988 PD Controller (Programming Windbond SPI EEPROM) using the TPS65987-88 Application Customization Tool and I am using the EK-TM4C123GXL/Launchpad Board as the programming tool. About a month ago I was able to jump through several hoops to get this to program but now I am unable to get it working. I realize there are drivers that are not digitally signed and that the TM4C can work as both a programming tool and device EVM. I am using the Tiva portion of the TM4C in the TPS65988 GUI and the GUI will not connect to the Tiva in the adapter settings, I keep getting "unable to open port", In my ports I have a Stellaris VSP (COM11) that is working and a TivaWare USB Serial Port (COM12) that is unable to start. If I remember correctly when I did the first programming there was another port that was for TM4C Bulk devices but I cant get that to show up. I hope I have provided enough information here, I basically want to use the EK-TM4C123GXL and the TPS65987-88 Application GUI to do the programming. It shouldn't be this difficult to use the APP.
