bq20z95 stuck with no communication please help

hello

i have 2 question:

1. i am trying to load GG file into the battery pack

i followed the istruction in the "Using bqTester single site software"

in section 4 - creating golden image, i programmed the SENC file , then sent 08 word to ther SMBus . now i cannot read or write to the device , also in SBS screen i cannot see communication.

2. the unlock code (default) is not unlocking the program. is there other code?

Just an idea.

If your device is sealed, you need to first give it the unseal code, then give it then full access code.

Are you trying to go right to the full access code?

The device must be in ROM mode to program the SENC file. First check if the device is in ROM mode by using the 0D command to Read SMB Word. If this returns a value, try resending 08 to take the device out of ROM mode. If this this does not work make sure the firmware and SENC files match. If they do not match or if there was an interruption in programming this would cause the part to lock up.

Also you can follow this checklist to make sure it is not a hardware issue.
