hi experts

i have a question about ASC function and "Figure 7-27. ASC implementation Flowchart"

As shown in Figure 7-27, 

Q1:whether can we configure UCC5870-Q1 when only VCC2 is up(VCC1 doesn't work)?

Q2: When VCC1 doesn't work, whether must VEE2 exist during we use secondary ASC function(using AI5 and AI6 as secondary ASC function)?

    Hello Jay,

    The driver IC cannot be configured without VCC1 and VCC2 being above UVLO.

    However, by default pins AI5 and AI6 are configured for ASC function, so the secondary ASC can work when VCC1 is doesn't work.

    VEE2 is not needed for secondary ASC function, but if the VEE2 UVLO is configured and the fault is set to pull the output to a specific state, the output will go to that state instead of following the secondary ASC. However, VEE2 UVLO is disabled, or set to no action, secondary ASC will be able to control the output. By default, VEE2 UVLO is disabled.
