LMR43610-Q1: PG hysteresis vs fault recovery condition

Part Number: LMR43610-Q1

Hi team,

Could you advise the Fault recovery condition from Vout UV fault?

It is described in the datasheet as below

VPGDUV + VPGDHYST < VOUT <VPGDOV -VOGDHYST

VPGDUV = 89% to 94.2%

VPGDHYST = 1.1% to 5.9%

Is the worst case recovery voltage might be 94.2% + 5.9% = 100.1%?

Is there a way to understand the maximum recovery voltage?

regards,

  • Hello Tsuji-san,

    100.1% of VOUT represents the highest possible value of VOUT for which the PGOOD flag would reassert after the UV fault has occurred.

    89%+1.1%=90.1% represents the lowest possible value of VOUT for which the PGOOD flag would reassert after the UV fault has occurred.

    After the UV fault circuitry has been tripped, the LMR43610-Q1 will wait until the output voltage, VOUT, is between 90.1% to 100.1% of the desired output voltage to reassert the power good flag.

    Regards,

    Harrison Overturf
