I am working with the bq27z561-R2. I have full access unsealed the gauge as you can see below (I confirm that SEC0 and SEC1 are both red. )

I am able to export an .srec, but I am unable to program a .srec. I again confirm that SEC0 and SEC1 are both red. When I try to program, something quickly flashes on the screen, and then I get what you see below.

I erred in showing the settings of SEC0 and SEC1, They are instead as shown below. however, I still can export but not program a .srec.

Hello Christopher,

The gauge will reenter sealed state after exportin the srec. Unseal again and then try to program it

I have made sure to do this before I tried to import. Unfortunately, that's not the problem.

Huh! It's so small and out of the way. I didn't know to look there.R "OM version is not supported by this tool. please get an update."

The silicon you have is probably newer. You will need to upgrade bqStudio
