         customer want to know,   in addition to charge and discharge, are there any other condition will cause cycle count change?

    Cycle count is updated when the threshold is crossed. See TRM section 13.1.17 0x2A/2B CycleCount()

    1. Any possible reason  this count  change from 18 to 5. this is a quality issue report. just 1pcs. 

    2. What condition will reset this cycle count to 0.

    The data flash parameter was probably written. There is no other way the count reduces.

                   0x2A,0x2B is readable only.  how to write to change cycle count. Do you  mean flash corruption?   that is why I asked how to reset cycle count to 0. below is some log from EC side. done can see this change, but don't have data in between.

  • Use bqStudio "Data memory" tab and look for the cycle count parameter. The TRM has the commands that are used for writing Data memory
