TPS6594-Q1: PMIC is going in Shutdown mode

Part Number: TPS6594-Q1

In Continuation to my last Question tread -

In a Working PMIC on board we are getting -

With -

Internal address of Slave PMIC (TPS65941111) - 4C at INT_TOP reg(5A) we get - 10 & at 0x66 - 00
Internal address of Master PMIC (TPS65941213) - 48 at INT_TOP reg(5A) we get -18 & at 0x66 - 00

NON-WORKING

4C (Slave) - at INT_TOP we get B0 & further to it at 0x69 - 02, 0x67 - 08, 0x66 - 01
48 (Master) - at INT_TOP we get B8 & further to it - 0x69 - 0E, 0x67 - 0A, 0x66 - 01 = 5fh - 02

We are interested in which Enable event it is indicating - at which pin for the B8 we read in Master PMIC

  • Hi,

In the non-working case the pmic has gone through safe recovery 15 times and stopped in safe recovery and will not attempt to restart until there is a power cycle.

The enable interrupt shows that the enable/npoweron pin has gone high.

    Thanks,

    Daniel W
