UCC28950: Variation of IDCM

Part Number: UCC28950

Hi,

I have a question about the IDCM_SRC variation below.

According to the datasheet, it varies from 14 to 26. What is the big influence? If you have a graph that shows changes with respect to temperature and Vref, please provide it.

In particular, could you please provide the variation data from -10°C to 70°C?

Best regards.

  • Hello,

The IDCM_SRC is current sourced out of the DCM pin and is 14 to 26 uA over teampature.  This based on process, teampature variation and guard banding. This data is proprietary and we can share it.

However,  you can reduce the affects of the source current by making the bias current through the DCM divider much greater than 26 uA.  For example if you make the bias current 1 mA the error cause by the source current should be 1.4% to 2.6%.

    Regards,
