Hi

I have couple of question to be clarified which is listed below

1.We are using BQ40Z50-R1 IC. We have extracted the golden file and we are using in  production. Unfortunately the BQ40Z50-r1 is out of stock. For this we can use this BQ40Z50RSMT IC and we can upload the golden file.

2.In some battery lots during production we have used BQ40Z50SMT.During the upload of gas gauge file the following error occured, which is shown below

Error: The Data flash checksum calculated from srec does not match checksum returned from device after programming.

    Hello Max

    Does it succeed when you try again? If yes, then that would indicate noise on SMBus as the cause.

    Also check that the device is correctly powered during programming

    We have another one question shown below

    By using this any problem will occur and by uploading the golden file of BQ40z50r1 any error may occur??

    Hello Max,

    You can use BQ40Z50 IC instead of BQ40z50-R1 IC, but before programming the golden image, the bq40z50-R1 srec must be programmed to the BQ40Z50 IC.
