Dear Expert,

In some application condition, the output voltage may be higher than input voltage. Can TPS4811/TPS1211 support reversed current usage?

And can it support reversed OCP by adding some external components? If yes, please share the circuit.

Hi Dylan,

TPS4811 AND TPS1211 can't block reverse current. Please look at LM7480-Q1

Hi Rakesh,

We don't need block reverse current. Oppositely, We need TPS4811 supports reverse current operation.

Can it support this? and how to implement OCP?

Hi Dylan,

TPS4811 provides OCP only in forward direction.

In enable condition, TPS4811 allows reverse current flow. But it doesn't do OCP in reverse current flow direction.

For OCP in reverse current direction, you need to use an INA device and control INP pin of TPS4811.
