BQ25792: Charge termination

Part Number: BQ25792

We are using this device to change 3S battery up to 12.6V however by the end, it is only reaching 12.3V.

Any reason why we are not reaching 12.6V?

Our design and layout follows the EVM board very closely with respect to capacitors on PMID and VSYS etc.

Hi Kiran,

How/where are you measuring the 12.3V? The charger measures at its BATP pin. Does the charger current taper down to the termination current set value? If not, is the safety timer expiring? What do the status and fault registers report?

Found the problem was with our software preventing full charge.
