BQ27441-G1: Device charging & operation issues using Texas Instruments BQ27441-G1

Please provide the configuration for the gauge and the cell resistance table from an example that showed short run time. What may happen is that the gauge learns cell resistance high, which can have a negative impact on full charge capacity estimations.

On another note, the software for using this fuel gauge was developed for a 3.7V 1,800mAh Li-po battery and we have since switched to a 2,000mAh battery. Could the software being set for an 1,800mAh battery and being applied to a 2,000mAh battery cause the failures as previously described?

Using a different cell can (and will) have an impact on accuracy because the gauge will estimate capacity for a different cell. If the chemistry is close, the gauge will eventually learn chemical capacity and subsequently cell resistance, which will reduce the error.
