I am trying to find a way to simulate the TPS55288 circuit that uses the I2C pins. Currently, PSPICE only allows for setting output voltage and current limit externally, but I would like to be able to simulate a circuit where everything is set internally through the SDA and SCL pins.

Hi Adam,

Sorry Pspice model doesn't include the I2C function. You could use the Pspice model to simulate the device switching behavior.

Would you know of another software that is capable of simulating the I2C function? If not I have another question. If I can create a circuit with the TPS55288 that outputs the correct Voltage and Current necessary, would I be able to use that circuit to produce the same output Voltage and Current by setting the registers internally? Put another way, could I remove the circuitry for external output voltage setting, set everything internally, and produce the same result?
