Hello E2E Expert,

Good day.

TPS2493, what will happen if there is a reverse current, from load to battery, like in the case of braking a motor load? Will it work properly?

    Hi,

    As long as the hotswap FET stays ON, the reverse current flows through the FET and there would not be any issue to TPS2493 and FET.

    If FET is turned OFF by disabling TPS2493,the reverse current flows through the body Diode and can damage the FET
