BQ25180: able to place pullup resistor to MR pin?

I'd like to tie MCU reset pin and BQ25170's MR pin. When short click for MCU reset, Hardware reset for long click. (like above schematic)

I think NTC monitoring function should be disabled. 

My question is placing 3.3V voltage 10K ohm pullup resistor to MR pin is no problem for MR function?
