TPS65983B: TPS65983 issues on TBT and non-TBT hosts

Hi TI Engineer Does the TPS65983B have GPIO indication when connecting to a TBT or MFDP or USB host? For example, if you are connected to a TBT host, then the gpio of one of the TPS65983B outputs high logic. If not TBT host, output low logic? Or if the host supports PCIE, the GPIO of the TPS65983B outputs high logic, otherwise low logic?

    Hi Lian,

    We have GPIO events 

    There is DP connection (Gpio event #51) and TBT connection (Gpio event #19), but no PCIE.

    What version of the gui are you using? Also, are you using a reference design for the 983 or is this a custom design?

    This is one of our older parts, and unfortunately the public GUI can not configure these events. If you want, I can try to set up the events for you and send you a bin file with the project. You would need t o send me a copy of your current project.
